If there is someone whom you can take as a mentor or idol while you venture a writing career, the George Raymond Richard Martin (GRRM) is your big guy. He is a famous writer and he was even published by the Time Magazine as one of the most influential people in the world back in 2011.

  1. I was just thinking the same today! The author does not just have good story-telling skills, he is so versatile…the way he switches between characters is amazing! 🙂 Plus the detailing of his universe is stunning! So many characters, so many cities, so many settings! Yet the plot and story comes out crystal clear, and even though people label him as someone who enjoys killing of characters, his books make a great impact.
